Niagara On The Lake

Prince of Wales Hotel - Niagara On The Lake

Your Chariots of Fire Niagara Falls tour will take you to this historic village located where the Niagara River meets Lake Ontario.  In 1782, it was the site of Ontario’s first government and parliament legislature as well as the origin of the Upper Canada Law Society.  In 1793, the world’s first anti- slavery legislation was passed here with the Canadian Fugitive Slave Act, providing freedom and the protection of law to black fugitives escaping the slavery plantations of the South.  The first printing press, newspaper and library in the province were located here.

With its many flowers, quaint shops, boutiques, galleries and sidewalk cafes, you will see why this village is considered Canada’s most beautiful town.  Your bus tour with Chariots of Fire stops at this scenic village and gives you the opportunity to stroll along, takes photos, have lunch or shop.
